I’ve decided to teach myself the basics of the Processing language using Processing.js because I’d love to learn how to do some data visualization. On the processingjs.org site there a few examples of the language in use and I thought this one called Fizz was just so cool I had to share.
Fizz takes your twitter or facebook feed and turns it into visual data, which takes the form of circles. The large circles represent the user, and the circles within represent the tweets/posts by that user. As you can see from the screen grab, the more posts, the larger the outer circle. This is also a good way to see who’s been clogging up your twitter feed with so many posts (at least that’s how I’m looking at it). You can also filter the results by searching.
